Resus Sim

Galway EM has had a strong tradition of multi-disciplinary resus simulation training. This is provided in combination with our procedural skills simulation training on a monthly basis across several sites within the hospital as well as at the University of Galway campus. Consultant-led debrief within a safe learning environment helps us learn from our practice in both the common and less common emergency scenarios.

A weekly ALS scenario is also run in with a focus on giving junior doctors more experience in managing resus cases before progressing to registrar level.
