Galway EM Research Day

Galway EM hosts an annual Emergency Medicine Research Day which looks at all the Research, Quality Improvement Projects, and Clinical audits done in the ED over the past year. Awards are given to the top projects for SpRs/Registrars, SHOs, and our Interns/Med Students.

2025 Bayer/IAEM Research Bursary

Well done to Dr. Enda Hession, SpR in EM, who was awarded the 2025 Bayer/IAEM Research Bursary by the Academic Committee of the Irish Association for Emergency Medicine. His study will look at the “The use of Artificial Intelligence to assist Triage in the Emergency Department”.
