Niall graduated from RCSI in 2015, and completed his specialist training in Emergency Medicine in 2023. Following completion of his EM training he undertook further specialist training in Intensive Care Medicine, with a senior clinical fellowship post in Cork University Hospital.

Niall has a passion for prehospital emergency medicine. During his training he completed the Masters in Trauma Science from Queen Mary University of London, as well as the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

He then completed a fellowship with Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust as a HEMS flight doctor, and currently splits his time working with other air ambulance charities in the UK.
